1) 수집하는 정보
- Google 계정 이메일 (로그인 시에만): 기기 간 환경설정 동기화를 위해 사용됩니다.
- 사용자 설정: 번역 엔진 선택(DeepL 또는 GPT), 언어 설정, UI 설정 등.
- API 키(BYOK): 사용자의 DeepL/OpenAI 키는 브라우저 로컬 저장소에 보관되며, 당사 서버로 전송하지 않습니다.
- 선택한 텍스트: 사용자가 번역을 요청한 텍스트로, 선택한 번역 제공업체(DeepL/OpenAI)로 전송되어 번역 결과를 반환하는 데만 사용되며, 저장하지 않습니다.
2) 이용 목적
- 페이지 내 번역 제공 및 확장 기능 개선
- Google 로그인 시 기기 간 설정 동기화
- Google OAuth를 통한 인증(설정 동기화 목적에 한함)
3) 수집·이용하지 않는 항목
- 브라우징 기록 수집 없음
- 키 입력 로깅·클릭 추적·화면 스크래핑 없음
- 개인정보의 제3자 판매·공유 없음
- 광고·신용도 판단 등 목적 외 사용 없음
4) 보관 및 보유기간
- 설정 및 키는 브라우저 storage API에 로컬 저장됩니다. Chrome 동기화를 활성화한 경우 Google의 동기화 정책에 따라 기기 간 동기화가 이뤄질 수 있습니다.
- 당사는 별도의 서버에 개인 정보나 번역 텍스트를 저장하지 않습니다.
5) 제3자 서비스
- DeepL API — DeepL 선택 시 번역 제공
- OpenAI API — GPT 선택 시 번역 제공
- Google OAuth — 로그인 및 동기화
6) 이용자 선택권
- 로그인 없이도 Luni를 사용할 수 있습니다. 로그인은 설정 동기화를 위한 선택 사항입니다.
- 확장 설정에서 언제든 API 키를 삭제하거나 변경할 수 있습니다.
- 확장 설정에서 저장 데이터를 삭제하거나, 확장 프로그램을 제거하여 모든 데이터를 삭제할 수 있습니다.
7) 아동의 개인정보
Luni는 만 13세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 아동의 개인정보를 고의로 수집하지 않습니다.
8) 정책 변경
본 정책은 필요 시 업데이트될 수 있으며, 중요한 변경 사항은 상단의 날짜 갱신으로 고지합니다.

1) Data We Collect
- Google Account Email (only if you sign in): used to save and sync your preferences.
- User Preferences: translation engine choice (DeepL or GPT), language settings, UI preferences.
- API Keys (BYOK): your DeepL/OpenAI key stored locally in your browser; we do not transmit your key to our servers.
- Selected Text: the text you choose to translate, sent to the selected provider (DeepL/OpenAI) only to return a translation. We do not store this text.
2) How We Use the Data
- Provide in-page translations and improve the extension.
- Sync preferences across devices (when signed in with Google).
- Authenticate via Google OAuth solely for settings sync.
3) What We Don’t Collect or Do
- No browsing history collection.
- No keystroke logging, click tracking, or screen scraping.
- No sale or sharing of personal data with third parties.
- No use of data for advertising, creditworthiness, or unrelated purposes.
4) Storage & Retention
- Settings and keys are stored locally using the browser storage API. If Chrome Sync is enabled, data may sync under Google’s controls.
- We do not maintain separate servers to store personal information or translated text.
5) Third-Party Services
- DeepL API — translations when DeepL is selected.
- OpenAI API — translations when GPT is selected.
- Google OAuth — sign-in and sync.
6) Your Choices
- You can use Luni without signing in. Sign-in is optional for syncing.
- You can remove or change your API keys anytime in settings.
- You can clear stored data in settings or by removing the extension.
7) Children’s Privacy
Luni is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
8) Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the date above.
